We've trained ourselves to think of failure as a negative thing. In fact, we're pretty scared of it. So scared that we are reluctant to try new things. This is stupid. Failure is simply a process that is inevitable. That doesn't mean I think we should try and fail, but I think we should change the way we look at it. Failure teaches us a lot of things, and if you're smart enough you can learn from the failures of others (the recommended method). Bottom line: it's okay to fail. Stop worrying about what others might think or how bad the fall might hurt. Concentrate your energy on what your next move will be, cuz you can't change anything behind you.
